Planned absences are absences known in advance. In the case of planned absences, especially those involving three (3) or more consecutive days, students should:
- Let their teachers and the Rhetoric School Office know of the date(s) they will be absent.
- Receive any assignments to be completed before or during the absence along with any special instructions. Teachers may require work to be completed in advance or submitted on the day students return to school.
Note: Parents are required to notify the Rhetoric School Office for any absence, planned or unplanned, apart from school-related absences.
